EdgeLink
Future-facing physical-world integration layer of the CAPTAIN Ecosystem.
EdgeLink is designed to connect the CAPTAIN Ecosystem with mobile devices, field devices, sensors, cameras, IoT, robotics, remote sites, and physical-world telemetry as the platform matures.
Today EdgeLink supports field check-ins, patrol verification, and mobile reporting for active agents. Future capabilities will extend to IoT devices, body cameras, edge sensors, telemetry, robotics, and autonomous-assisted operational interfaces.

Overview
What is EdgeLink?
EdgeLink is Access Patrol's field operations, connected systems, site readiness, and operational visibility support layer.
It supports review-based conversations around field activity, mobile reporting, patrol verification, connected-system planning, and site operations needs.
EdgeLink overview and inquiry flows do not activate GPS tracking, route advisories, field intelligence, scheduling, dispatch, or monitoring runtime.

EdgeLink Public Use Cases
EdgeLink inquiries are reviewed before any field workflow, device planning, or pilot next step is considered.
Field-Awareness Support
A client requests information about field-awareness support for a site, route, patrol area, or operational environment.
Route-Context Planning
A security team explores future route-context and field coordination workflows before any operational use is considered.
Pilot Interest Review
Access Patrol reviews EdgeLink pilot interest before any field runtime, device planning, or coordination workflow moves forward.
Who It Serves
Users & Roles
Check in at posts, submit mobile reports, and confirm patrol completion.
Monitor field check-in activity and verify agent presence at assigned sites.
Review field coverage context, readiness signals, and patrol compliance information.
Support approved post, site, and field workflow configuration.
Current Capabilities
Active Field Features
These capabilities are active for authorized field users today.
Agents check in at posts, sites, and patrol waypoints from any mobile device.
Location-aware patrol confirmation tied to assignments and work orders.
Submit activity, incident, and field reports directly from the field.
Geo-tagged field events linked to post and site records in Agent Link.
Update site status, flag issues, and communicate field conditions.
Confirm on-post presence, readiness, and compliance during active assignments.
Future / Roadmap Capabilities

How EdgeLink Connects
Access & Governance
Who Can Access EdgeLink?
EdgeLink is available to authorized field users. Access requires an active account with an appropriate agent, supervisor, or operations role in the Access Patrol ecosystem.
The platform is currently in active development. Future physical-world capabilities (IoT, sensors, cameras, robotics, telemetry) are roadmap items and are not yet live unless specifically configured.
Submit a public request if you do not have existing credentials. Field access is reviewed before approval.
Public Intake
Request EdgeLink Services
Submit an EdgeLink service request for review. This does not activate field workflows, devices, deployments, site readiness approval, or operational control.
